- What forms of payment can I use on myBMV.com?
You can pay using an electronic check (made out to "BMV" or "Bureau of Motor Vehicles"), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There is a small transaction fee for paying with a credit card
- How do I take care of transactions if I don’t have access to the internet?
Branches are open for walk-in service. BMV Connect kiosks are also available at various locations throughout the state. Kiosks are currently credit/debit card only.
- I cannot renew my driver's license or registration online at myBMV.com. Why is this happening?
There are many reasons for being unable to renew online including but not limited to:
- Address or Name Change
- License or Registration has been expired for too long
- Plate type not available for renewal online or no longer offered
- myBMV error code when trying to add to cart
If you are unable to renew your Driver’s License online, you may walk-in to a branch or review appointment availability at this time to renew.
If you are unable to renew your registration online, you may be able to mail in to renew at this time. Please see https://www.in.gov/bmv/2448.htm for more information.
